LR Painting is a father-and-son painting company working across Lower Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY.
Work is delivered by us and by a network of trusted subcontractors we vet and manage directly, which lets us scale a job to its scope without dropping the standard.
We work directly with homeowners and as a trade partner to interior designers, architects, and builders throughout the region.

Written scope
Prep, coats, and materials are specified before work starts, tied to the level you choose.
Trusted subcontractors
The crews we bring in are people we have worked with before, vetted and managed by us on every job.
Occupied homes
Finished spaces and real furniture. We work around how you actually live.
Prep first
Most of a lasting finish is what happens before the first coat. We scope prep honestly.
Specialty finishes
Venetian plaster, limewash, and sprayed cabinet refinishing handled by us and by the trusted subcontractors we work with regularly, never handed to an unknown crew.
Clean sites
Covered, protected, and cleaned daily. You keep living in the house while we work.
Trade & design
A large share of our work comes through interior designers, architects, and builders.
Spec accurate execution
We paint what's specified: brand, line, sheen, and color. If a spec won't perform on the substrate, we flag it early.
Samples & mockups
Sample boards and on-wall drawdowns before commitment, so your client approves the real thing under their own light.
Specialty finishes in house
Venetian plaster, limewash, high gloss lacquer, and sprayed cabinet refinishing, handled by us and never farmed out to an unknown sub.
Your client stays your client
We don't go around you, we don't quote side work, and we route questions about scope back through you.
Schedule coordination
We sequence around trades, deliveries, and installs, and tell you straight when a date isn't realistic.

We don't publish project photos without your sign off, and we credit the designer whenever you'd like us to.
Questions
Levels apply to interior and exterior painting only. The level sets how far we take prep and how many coats go on, and those two things drive most of the cost. Level 1, Home Refresh, is a fast single coat on surfaces already in good shape. Level 5 includes skim coating, multiple coats, and our highest grade materials. We price the level at the walkthrough once we've seen the surfaces.
No. Almost all of our work happens in occupied homes. We cover furniture, protect floors, and clean the site daily so you can keep living in the house.
Lower Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY, including Upper Westchester. If you're just outside that range, just ask. We'll tell you straight whether it's a fit.
It depends on the season and the scope. Send photos with your request and we'll give you a realistic window along with the estimate.
Yes. A large share of our work comes through the trade. We execute to spec, provide samples and on-wall mockups before commitment, coordinate around other trades, and keep the client relationship yours. Reach out through the contact form and select your role.
Only with permission. We ask before photographing finished work, we never publish an address or anything identifying, and on trade projects we wait for the designer's sign off first.

What we collect. If you use the estimate form, we receive the name, phone number, email address, project details and any photos you choose to send. That is the only information we collect. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
Why we have it. To reply to your enquiry and to prepare an estimate. Nothing more.
Who sees it. Only LR Painting. We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone. Our form is delivered through our hosting provider, which processes the submission on our behalf.
How long we keep it. Enquiries are kept while we are in contact and for our business records afterwards. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Cookies. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If that changes we will say so here first.
